Reference materials are acquired in the Malay and English language and comprises of suggested readings by the lecturers, dictionaries, thesaurus, encyclopedias, almanacs, fact books, guidebooks, biographies, atlases, newspaper cuttings, students' academic exercise, thesis/dissertation, expensive items as well as rare materials.
Loan Service
Registered library members may borrow up to five (5) library items (books, journals, audio visual materials). Books and journal accompanied with CD-ROM are considered as two (2) items. Service is restricted to registered library members only.
Document Delivery Services
The service facilitates interlibrary loan from local libraries as well as overseas libraries.Request for the service should be forwarded to the Librarian/Library assistant at ASK. Terms and conditions of Memorandum of Understanding for Document Delivery Service applies.
Information Packaging Service
Information packaging is available for special topic related to the courses offered at ASK.
Current Awareness service
The library prepares a monthly contents-page notice and circulates to the senior management officers and programmes' heads.
User Education Service
Is a guided session for library users to learn and maximize searching techniques through the use of library system or Online Public Access Catalogue.(OPAC).
Audio Visual Facilities
Available at the Audio and Viewing Room in the library. Usage is limited to the library materials only. Enquires for use may be made through the library officers on duty at the counter.
Reprographic Service
The service encompasses photos and slides .All cost incurred must be borne by the individual. A 10-day notice is required to facilitate the printing job.
